Marinated Chicken A La Mode

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 chicken(400g); 20g ginger(sliced); 2 braids of garlic; a stalk of spring onion(sectioned)

MARINADE:
1 tsp ginger juice; a pinch of cornflour; a pinch of pepper.

SEASONINGS:
1/8 cup sesame oil; 1/8 cup soya sauce; 1/8 cup Shaoxing rice wine; 1 tbsp crushed rock sugar.

METHOD:

  1. Rinse chicken and wipe it dry. Chop it into chunks and stir in marinade. Leave them for a while.
  2. Heat an earthrn pot, add 1/8 cup sesame oil to saute ginger and garlic. Add chicken parts and saute well. Pour in seasonings and bring them to boil.
  3. Add spring onion sections, cover ingredients and braise till ingredients are done and sauce getting thick, dish up and serve.
