Steak In Orange Sauce |

- INGREDIENTS:
- 6 oz steak; 1 orange;, a braid of garlic (hashed).
- MARINAD:
- 1 tsp Maggie sauce; 1/2 tsp sugar; 1-1/2 tbsp cornflour; a dash of sesame oil; a pinch of pepper.
- ORANGE SAUCE:
- 2 OZ fresh orange juice; 1/2 oz honey; 1/2 tbsp orange peel; 1/4 tsp salt; 1 tbsp orange liqueur/Curacao;
- 1 tbsp custard power.
METHOD:
- Peel orange and shred peel. Prepare fresh orange juice for later use.
- Wash beef steak and wipe it dry. cut it into hunks and marinate for 10 minutes. Deep fry in hot oil for 2
minutes. Drain.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil and saute hashed garlic. Pour in orange sauce and wait till boil. Add in steak and fry with
high heat till sauce dries gradually. Dish up and serve.
